Under 17’s qualify for North Dublin league final.

A 3-0 victory over old foes St. Declan’s Cabra secured the “Bros” a spot in the North Dublin final. An excellent opening goal on 25 minutes by Brian McManus gave the lads a slender 1-0 half time lead. A second goal seconds into the second half by Val Odedekun increased the lead to 2-0 before a Keith Carter penalty mid-way through the half secured victory.

The Under 17’s have also qualified for the quarter finals of the Leinster Cup with our opponents yet unknown.

The senior Under 19’s kicked off with a 6-1 victory over St. David’s Artane. More results and reports to follow…

The under 15’s opened their season with a 2-1 defeat to St. Paul’s Raheny. A brilliant strike by Ryan Kinahan in the first half looked like being enough to secure the points even though we had chances galore to add to the lead. But lady luck was not on our side and we conceded two very late goals to lose 2-1.

Our second match against Pobal Setanta Clonee turned out to be easier than anticipated with a 7-0 rout to secure a place in the knock-out stages.

The first year boys beat Drimnagh Castle 6-5 in a thriller on Friday 24th November in the 1st round of the Leinster cup with a superb 4 goal haul from Alex O’Brien. This was followed up with a 4-2 defeat to Ashbourne but there is still a lot to be played for after Christmas…………
